LinkedIn and Facebook for Boomer Job Seekers
3 comments
Yesterday I gave a presentation to a group of boomer job seekers explaining how and why to use Facebook and LinkedIn. What follows is my slides. They did videotape the event, so if I can get some video, I’ll share that too.
Questions for you:
How could this be improved?
What did I forget to include?
What suggestions do you have for boomers who want to use Facebook and LinkedIn in their job search?

Great presentation! It really drives home how extensively LinkedIn and Facebook matter in the job search today. There’s a tool available that leads you right through the practical steps on utilizing LinkedIn for your job search.

This was a really interesting presentation and hits home how important social media is in the recruitment world.
I have found that LinkedIn make it especially easy for users to find jobs that are relevant to them and the area that they live in.
Great take on this Phil, thanks!
