I am so amazed how much I can learn, read and write on the internet in mere seconds. It’s crazy to me to realize we have more powerful computers in our hands than our parents and grandparents ever thought possible.
There’s so much about this great big world that we live in that blows my mind. Rather than tell you all the things I am amazed by, I found this nifty video (updated not long ago to show the 2009 numbers) that will show you all the amazing things in our world today.
It’s only 4:46, and if you pay attention, it’ll open your eyes to all the cool changes happening around the world.

Hi Phil:
Thanks for sharing this — it is very eye-opening. For information junkies like myself, all of this convergence is both good and bad. I love to have a lot of information at my reach, but sometimes it really distracts me from what I need/want to get done.

Hi Phil .. it is absolutely extraordinary how much information we can access now; the interesting part is our own personal filtering .. and decision process – do we look, do we want to look … ?? Our brain can only take so much .. until sometime in the future (presumably) when that organ will be utilised so much more ..
As you say interesting times and thanks for posting such an informative video – I guess the conference in October in NYC will be interesting too ..
Thought provoking .. how many of us actually think now? I sincerely hope the leaders of the world, entrepreneurs, leading thinkers and philosophers do .. otherwise we’ll be lost sometime in the future!
I love it though and am excited at the future ..
Thanks – Hilary Melton-Butcher
