If you’ve been reading Make It Great! for any period of time, you know that I have a LOT of things I like to read and like to share. Maybe it’s the lack of focus, coupled with my sharing things authentically, is why folks keep coming back to read and why my subscriber numbers remain steady.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong in the comments
Anyhow…I read a LOT of great blogs, but they don’t always fit neatly into categories, buckets, boxes or anything like that, so they don’t always find their way into my articles.
UNTIL NOW!
Below are 5 of my favorite random blogs from 5 very passionate writers. Folks that write what’s on their heart and in their head, and they are worth stopping by and subscribing to when you’re tired of reading about marketing, branding, social media, management, or whatever else you normally read.
http://ridingondragons.com – The new home of my buddy Dick Richards. LOTS of random stuff here to make your brain think in new ways.
http://accidentalwisconsinite.blogspot.com/ – The Accidental Wiscsonsinite is my friend Meghan’s blog. She’s posting all sorts of random stuff here, some about food, some about Wisconsin, some about life, all interesting.
http://www.toddrjordan.com/thebroadbrush/ – Todd Jordan is the host of The Broad Brush. He talks a little about social media, a little about his moustache, and a lot of other interesting stuff.
http://blogs.jobdig.com/wwds – What would Dad say is a very interesting thought on work, culture, and anything else of interest to G.L. Hoffman.
http://www.movingfrommetowe.com/ – Kare Anderson is all about working together, in any way shape or form. Moving From Me to We is brilliant at thinking about how we can do what the title says: Move from me to we.
Now it’s your turn…
Do you write a random blog that you’d like to share? Please drop a comment off so I can read you too.

Why Phil
Coming from you that is high praise.
Ironically I was just speaking about you
two days before Thanksgiving
- to an audience of bankers in Orlando
- about the power of a welcoming spirit
(you/your blog were one of the 3 examples I gave)
- for the employees and bank clients
In this bad economy, the ways we can accomplish more – together and for each other -
are important for our business bottom line
and to cultivate the friendships that feed our soul.
I keep that in my heart and mind in writing my blog and savoring the holiday, mindful of friends like you who go out of their way to offer concrete help and constancy in friendship.
Thank you Phil.
